When it comes to gifting, it can be hard to impress the person who's always got a pulse on what's hot right now. Whether the Gen Zer in your life is in middle school or getting married, our gifting experts have found some trendy-but-actually-good gifts that speak to the particular obsessions of a very particular generation.

The younger sect will probably delight in special finds from hip brands — like some darling collectible Sonny Angel cherubs. The middle of the generation might appreciate some fancy upgrades to their basics, like an "it" water bottle. And the older side will likely enjoy grown-up finds that still feel cool — Drew Barrymore's 10-in-1 multi-cooker, perhaps?

Some advice for firing up the grill this weekend

One easy way to level up your grilling? After scraping your grates clean and wiping off all that soot, use a paper towel to oil your grill's hot grates directly, says grilling expert Lesley Stockton on this week's episode of The Wirecutter Show. This hack will help make sure your food doesn't stick.

And if your grill could talk? Well, it would probably ask you to do these four things regularly to keep it in good working shape.
