Hi everyone — The Trump administration would like to get rid of the Consumer Financial Protection Bureau. Federal judges will play at least some role in allowing or halting its ongoing management or dismemberment unless (or until) Congress weighs in. As many of you know, filing a complaint about a company with the C.F.P.B. has been a good way to get a response from that company in recent years. Often, the company will respond within weeks, via an employee who has more authority than your average frontline worker.
